Sanlorenzo has announced the sale of a new 73 meter superyacht which will form the flagship of the fleet. The sale was finalized by Fraser, and the yacht will be the first of a new 73Steel series.
The contract brings the number of Sanlorenzo metal yachts sold in 2022 to nine.
The yacht will be fitted with an innovative diesel-electric propulsion system that aims to reduce emissions, and her layout will be “completely unconventional”, according to the yard.
The exteriors come from Zuccon International Project, and the design will emphasize connecting indoor and outdoor spaces with a decor concept that Sanlorenzo says will be both innovative and revolutionary.

“The design of the new 73Steel represents a fascinating new chapter in the history of the yard, not only because of its size, which is currently the largest ever built, but also because it is a testament to the strength with which the company believes in the evolution of the market”, commented Bernardo Zuccon, of Zuccon International.
Zuccon added that the design aims to convey principles of extreme dynamism, sportiness and contemporary style. “It is precisely this subtle dialogue between the search for a strong stylistic identity and a constant inspiration of stylistic traits now consolidated in the brand’s DNA, which is the perfect key to interpreting this project”, he said. -he adds.
Sanlorenzo called the project “visionary” in its aim to bring the outside world in, with plenty of space to entertain larger groups as well as hold more intimate gatherings.
The yard has worked extensively with Zuccon in the past, notably on the popular Alloy series.
