After three daughters, Kiki Carr jokingly says, “My husband finally had his boy.”

But with Tommy Carr Jr. came the need for a fifth bedroom and the end of their stay in the four bedroom Colonial in Doylestown which they purchased in 2015.

“We’re sad to leave,” says Kiki, an accountant. “It’s really nice and the neighbors are fantastic.

But she and Tommy, who run the auto repair shop in Chalfont which he took over from his late father, are moving to a larger location in the Solebury / Carversville area.

For a family that finds 2,620 square feet sufficient (over 3,600, including the finished basement), she says the house is great for raising children: School District.

Although she and Tommy have opened up the layout and made other improvements, Kiki says the home is very versatile for any changes a buyer might want to make.

The two-story entrance hall leads to a grand staircase.

The first floor contains a home office, formal living room, cloakroom, and gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances from Thermador and Miele and white quartz countertops.

There is also a large room and a library with a wood-burning stone fireplace.

The bedrooms with large windows are on the next level. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet.

The finished basement has a powder room, home gym and media room.

The back yard is fully fenced with low maintenance gardens and a play area.

The kitchen was renovated in 2019; the HVAC system, the roof and the floor of the locker room were replaced in 2017.

The house is listed by Lauren Racobaldo and Jessica Gannon of Keller Williams Luxury, Doylestown and New Hope, for $ 749,900.
